Description: Learn or strengthen your Spades game! Spades is a card game where 1 partnership challenges another partnership in a game of strategies, covert communication and fun!

Challenge Me Board Games
Description: Are you excited about playing games? Are you excellent at bingo, sorry, checkers, monopoly, trouble, etc.? This may be the club for you. 8th graders please sign up to compete in various board games for fun and competition.

Cheerleaders
Description: The cheerleaders will make and distribute spirit items, practice, and workout in the weight room and exercise outside. Open to Spartan Cheerleaders Only!

Chess Club
Description: This club allows students to play recreational chess to improve their skill level.

Club for Animals
Description: This club will examine how to care for animals at home and in the community. The club will also look at how animals enhance our lives in the community. We will have guest speakers and activities.

Clue
Description: Clue is a mystery board game where the participants gather clues and identify the who committed the crime.

Coin Club
Description: Students will learn beginner techniques for the coin-collecting hobby by examining old U.S. and world coins. Students who pay a $10 club fee (optional) may keep the coins as examples if they want.

Computer Club
Description: In Computer Club you will practice typing skills, use the Microsoft Office software, and play computer games.

CSI
Description: Club CSI is for students who the interest and the zest for investigation not just like what they see in the movies or TV shows but giving the students some hands on knowledge on how police officers or investigations go where science, logic, law, and evidences meet at the same point.

Dance
Description: Students will learn and explore different styles of dance such as ballet, jazz, line, and ballroom dancing.

Disney Club
Description: Meetings will involve Disney: Character education, life lessons, and to work with others.

Dominoes
Description: Teams of players will learn how to play different domino games like Mexican Train, Chicken Foot, Solitaire, and others.

Drama
Description: Students will participate in a variety of drama games and Reader's Theatre activities.

F.C.A. (Fellowship of Christian Athletes)
Description: Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) is a student-led Christian club for ALL students (athlete or not) to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ through weekly Bible studies on Friday mornings throughout the school year and on designated club days.

Green Club
Description: Green Club is all about promoting environmentally conscious behavior on campus and in the community. In Green Club, you will help with Youree Drive Middle School's efforts to be one of the top "green" schools in Caddo Parish. As a member of this club, you will have the opportunity to help with campus-wide recycling, assist in our annual telephone book drive, and promote Green projects on and off campus. Green Club members make a big difference at YDMS.
