Our MIDDLE ADVANCED PLACEMENT MAGNET PROGRAM includes a rigorous and challenging curriculum in math and science that will offer high-achieving students an opportunity to be involved in Advanced Placement classes with highly qualified teachers, advanced labs, field trips, and extensive hands-on experiences.

This program is designed for students in the YDMS district as well as out of district students who qualify for Advanced Placement classes. Incoming 6th graders     (Out of district) will be given the opportunity to apply for the Magnet Program by going to https://www.caddoschools.org/page/magnet-schools-information and following the magnet school application process.

25 out-of-district slots are available in each of the grade levels. Once the maximum of 25 has been reached, students may be placed on a waiting list.  Transportation may be available for Magnet students.
