I am excited to be a part of Youree Drive as an 8th grade Math teacher! I graduated from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2022 with my Bachelor’s in Middle School Education: Mathematics and Science. I have been teaching for about 3.5 years. My husband and I have a 2-year-old daughter named Zayla. I truly believe math is just a mindset and once again I am excited to be a Spartan!

Hello Spartans, my name is Mona Vienne, and I am the Behavior Intervention Specialist (BIS) for YDMS. My husband, Matt, and I have been married for 26 years, and we have 4 beautiful children. In 1996, I started my career in education as a Social Studies teacher/basketball coach at C.E. Byrd High School. Over the years, I was a Social Studies teacher at Huntington High School and Northwood High School; as well as the counselor at North DeSoto High School. In 2016, I left the classroom to become a Behavior Intervention Specialist. I have served YDMS as their BIS for the past 7 years; however, I am super excited to now be at Sparta 5 days a week.

Hello, my name is Precious Walls. I am a proud graduate of Jackson State University! This will be my 10th year teaching mathematics! I cannot wait to join the math team at YDMS to pour into the future mathematicians.
